Cabriolet roof protection is one of the most popular services among owners of this type of car, because they know it’s the best way to take comprehensive care of their sports cars. We’re happy to take on such challenges, using only the best, original car care products and preparations.
The surface of a convertible roof is rough, but it’s still a material that is exposed to external factors all year round. It’s worth protecting the roof against fading and discoloration of the fabric.
The cabrio roof protection process starts with thoroughly cleaning the material from contamination using an extraction vacuum and gentle brushes that remove dirt effectively without damaging the fabric. After the surface is completely dried, we apply a specialist impregnator that creates a protective layer, protecting the roof against moisture, contamination, and UV radiation. The effect lasts throughout the whole season - 6 months - providing an aesthetic look and extending the material’s lifespan.
Every convertible owner knows that a soft top is exposed to:
✨ rain, snow, and moisture
✨ UV radiation and color fading
✨ dust, dirt, bird droppings, and other contamination
✨ repeated folding and unfolding, which may lead to cracks and leaks
✨ Water and dirt resistance
✨ Easier daily maintenance
✨ Preserving the fabric’s intense color
✨ Reducing the risk of cracking or tearing the fabric
✨ First, thorough vacuuming to remove dust and contamination
✨ Then application of a gentle active foam or a textile-cleaning product
✨ Hand washing with a soft brush (e.g., a natural-bristle brush), then rinsing with water
✨ Drying with microfiber and blowing water out of hard-to-reach places with compressed air
Remember not to fold the roof right after rain - even an impregnated roof may still be slightly damp.
Before we start, we make sure the roof is completely dry. Then we apply an even layer of a specialist product designed for vinyl or fabric. We create a hydrophobic layer, so water droplets slide off the surface, and the roof stays clean and resistant to contamination throughout the season (approx. 6 months).
✨ Cleaning the roof, including gaps and folds, from dust, dirt, and contamination
✨ Hydrophobic coating impregnation (e.g. Gyeon Q² FabricCoat)
✨ Restoring the fabric color and protecting it against fading
