PPF wrapping

Effective car paint protection

Nowadays, car owners are increasingly paying attention to long-lasting paint protection and maintaining a flawless vehicle appearance. Paint on modern cars is more susceptible to scratches, stone chips, and weather-related damage than ever before. That’s why one of the most effective ways to protect the bodywork is PPF film wrapping, i.e., a clear protective film.

What is PPF film and why is it worth using?

PPF (Paint Protection Film) is a flexible, transparent polyurethane layer that creates an almost invisible barrier on the paint surface. It is hydrophobic, which makes it easy to remove dirt and helps keep the film clean for longer. The best results come when it is combined with a dedicated coating for PPF film – Gyeon Q² PPF.

The purpose of the film is to protect against:

✨ Scratches and micro-damage

✨ Stone chips

✨ UV radiation

✨ Road salt

✨ Insects

✨ Parking scuffs

Clear PPF film does not change the look of the paint – it preserves its color, gloss, and depth. Thanks to self-healing properties, minor scratches disappear under heat, which helps the car keep a fresh look for much longer.

This is currently the best car paint protection you can use.

An additional advantage is the possibility of safely removing the film without causing any damage to the paint.

We use Rivashield film with a thickness ranging from 200 μm (matte) to 210 μm (clear), which nowadays means double, and often even triple, the thickness of factory paint, which typically ranges between 60 and 120 μm.

PPF car wrapping – what does the full process look like?

Professional PPF wrapping requires experience and proper vehicle preparation.

The whole process can be divided into several stages:

✨ Paint preparation – The bodywork surface is perfectly cleaned and, if needed, paint correction is performed to remove micro-scratches or holograms. This helps the film adhere perfectly and ensures maximum effectiveness.

✨ PPF film application – The film is cut and fitted to the shape of the body panels. It is applied using dedicated solutions that allow it to be positioned perfectly—without bubbles or creases.

✨ Stabilization – After application, the film needs time to bond, and we have time to check that everything is as it should be. After this stage, the car is ready for use.

3 Wrapping typically takes from 1 to 7 days, depending on the scope of work.
More complex projects may require additional time.

Scope of PPF protective film wrapping

The vehicle owner can choose to protect the entire car or only the most exposed areas.

The most popular wrapping packages we do are:

✨ Hood wrapping

✨ Front bumper wrapping

✨ Fender wrapping

✨ Mirror wrapping

✨ Headlight wrapping

✨ Trunk loading sill wrapping

✨ Door edge wrapping

✨ Door handle cup wrapping

Full car wrapping with PPF film is also possible and represents the highest standard of paint protection.

PPF protective film – car wrapping price

The cost of wrapping a car depends on several factors, namely:

✨ Vehicle size

✨ Scope of protection

✨ Type of film selected

✨ Condition of the paint before application

Typically:

✨ Protecting small cars is the least expensive

✨ Owners of sedans, wagons, and SUVs will pay more

✨ The price increases with full-body wrapping

If you’re wondering how much car wrapping costs or you need a detailed breakdown, it’s best to request an individual quote, because every project is different.

Coating for PPF film

This coating supports the self-healing properties of some films, which means minor scratches can disappear on their own under heat.

It also protects against UV radiation, preventing yellowing and premature aging of the film. It is also hydrophobic, which makes it easier to remove contamination and helps keep the film clean for longer.

In our offer, applying a coating on PPF film is optional, but we always recommend it, because it gives the bodywork maximum protection against adverse external factors.
